I won’t be buying, but think both designs are nice.

Impossible to know at this point what the minage will actually be. Have you looked at the actual mintages of the commemorative dollars? They don't come close to the authorized mintages, and yet the prices of the coins in the aftermarket in general end up way below issue price. If they were to sell all 400,000 they would end up just being melt value.

Meow has a random question. Do one ounce silver bullion coins from other countries fit in the same holders or capsules as ASEs?

Some might but not all of them. They all weigh the same but the diameters and thicknesses can be different.

Folk don't seem to like the newest commems. And Meow has noticed even the low mintage ones don't have much demand. Meow does not get it. At least with new commemoratives you get a totally new design every year, as the Mint has made an effort to offer something new. The other popular coins like ASEs just have as little as a single digit in the date different from the pervious year or years. It that not why State and ATB quarters are so fun to collect? Meow does not have albums for boring year after year coins. A pre 1999 quarter album would be yuck so boring.

Maybe something that a hammer can fix, purrrrrrrrr. How do you store your bullion coins?

This depends on the coin’s design. Each 1 troy ounce silver coin usually measures somewhere between 34 and 42 mm. For example, the American Silver Eagle 1 oz coin measure 40.6mm in diameter IMG_20190515_180642176.jpg .

some of the holders I use fit multiple sizes, morgans and others are smaller.
amazon has these in stock. affordable, wizard coin supply seems good too, but they charge for usps flat rate packages like 11$ SHIPPING

Agreed. I suspect the medals will have a very small mintage yet follow the same pricing model as well.

It's a pretty set but not likely to recoup the 4xspot selling price in my lifetime (not that it's important to me, but still...)

I have a few piled up somewhere, not sure where. They aren't important and I don't collect them or even buy them. For the most part I just collect 18th and early 19th century material. The only modern stuff I have collected in the past 35 years is a set of modern Unc commemorative dollars. Just can't resist the combination of ridiculously low mintages and low prices. Take a look at the 2016, 2017, and 2018 coins. US silver dollars with mintages of around 12,000, and I've been able to get all of them for less than issue price.

How is it enhanced? Is it the fancy holder?

If you look at it, its kinda like a reverse proof on the dress, only 281k made, compared to 2013 w and S business witch had a mintage of 42 million, they also have a 2013 W burnished about same mintage as enhanced, and a reverse proof same mintage. So I have to buy 5 2013 eagles, hehe. no rush.

Oh cool, Meow did not notice the stripes on the dress. Holder is nice too. Meow wonders if the holder is welded shut or not.

It's a "generic" shell so probably not.

Kinda nice, Meow likes the look. Wonder if they make ones that hold quarters, and how much they cost.
