How about when the husband and wife use the same reverse type?

Everyone needs a Gallienus or twenty.

Recent addition, from a mint I previously was lacking:

Gallienus - ex Holmes Germanicus Vict 3539.jpg GALLIENUS
Billon Antoninianus. 3.35g, 20.6mm. Viminacium mint, issue 3c, circa AD 253-260. MIR 36, 840n; RIC V (joint reign) 382 (Milan); Cunetio –. O: IMP GALLIENVS P F AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust right. R: GERMANICVS MAXIMVS, trophy of arms, with seated captive on either side.
Ex N. M. McQ. Holmes Collection (bought from Baldwin's, 1993)

    And my favorite Salonina:

Salonina - Dea Segetiae 2480.jpg SALONINA
Billon Antoninianus. 2.6g, 24.5mm. Colonia Agrippinensis (Cologne) mint, AD 258-259. RIC 5; Göbl 902c; RSC 36. O: SALONINA AVG, diademed and draped bust right, resting on a crescent. R: DEAE SEGETIAE, Segetia standing facing within tetrastyle temple, both hands raised.

Nice ones! They make a nice little dynasty that is one of the easier ones to complete* without breaking the banks

    Daddy Gallienus

    And the brothers Valerian II

    And Saloninus
    Saloninus antoninianus principi ivventvtis.jpg

And don't forget uncle Shapur! He's a taxidermist by trade, but I hear his signature cocktail is to die for!
    Shapur i drachm.jpg

Jokes aside, of the six members of the family, only Mariniana is scarce and routinely commands more than $100 for modest examples.

*Note about "completion" - there was apparently a third child who died young and was honored posthumously on coinage - but only a single example is known to have survived to the present!

Sestertii of the last dynasty that issued this denomination:

You´ll HAVE TO break the bank if you want a decent Sestertius of Valerian II or one in any state of Saloninus so I am lacking those for now...
