Possible date error

I'm just wondering where the last number in the date went it seems strange that that's the only number missing so, just curious its my grandson's I told him I'd check on it for him thanks.

Its a grease filled die, I asked about one I had, Ive got a few, just because their different. does not change the book value, I just like them.
