It is certainly a nice specimen with the variety and being an R 3 .
I must question though the R rating as it is quite common to find, as well find in the condition as yours or better.
However that said I would of purchased this coin in a NY minuite.
I have I believe 4 1834 half dimes as I buy them for the die marriage as well the date.
My date set 1829/1837 is complete but.....there is 125 pairs in this series....do I think I'll find them all .....no! But it is fun searching them out and capturing them if the price is right...like bust quarters these little gems are getting harder to find....and I won't part with mine....none even doubles
I saw a 1829 the other week a beatiful blue tone double profile...and this variety was a remarriage and had 4 obv. And 4 rev. Marriages. All were a R -4 variety!
And the owner picked it out of a junk box up in Gettysburg.
