I've been told it's pushed off until September and it's going to be a good one. Lots of time to get some consignments in and save up.
@Severus Alexander - @Aethelred was my intended dealer for this lot to go to, but since the owner (a relative of mine) would likely do better if the coins were sold individually rather than in one bulk sale, would you potentially be interested in a consignment? @Aethelred knows I'm going to shop that stuff around to try and get the owner the best deal possible, and has already said he wouldn't be offended if some or all go to somebody else besides him. Thing is, I don't know if some of it would be worth your time. Certainly a few pieces would be, I think. I suppose the more mundane LRBs and such could be parceled into small lots. I've even been kicking around the idea of selling them on eBay myself, but at the rate I work, it would take forever, and the photography would be middling at best. I still need final authorization to sell them (and to decide how), but I do not foresee any problem with that.
erm, yep... postponed 'til September. I'd better fix the website. But that means more time to get a consignment in! Speaking of which... Sure, pm me and we can chat about it!
