recent buys -Chicago Paer Money Expo

It was my annual pilgrimage to the expo. The general was gone by the time i got there. Looked around a lot odf us notes a few foreign currency and coin dealers. no one had british india, india, cyprus, malta etc. (all sold out) then i went over dave (he is a dealer) and bought a bunch of stuff from him. stuff i still have to pay for it. bought a lot of world notes about 5 collectors stopped in between and asked me for advice and after speaking to me were very happy to have met someone nice and knowledgeable got to see some real old BEP stuff (not notes) from one of those guys. one of them even sold me some of his stuff an old British pound. Spoke to a lot of good people. the chicago coin club is meeting there tomorrow for those who are interested overall it was a lot of fun. cant type the whole list i bought but got new zealand olymer and somalia $75 bv for for 7 bucks not too bad. and hey general i was wrong you could have bought a lot of stuff there for cheap

yeah the notes were great but the people interaction was even better at one point in time i was watching the booth its an amazing experience.

 

what is the Twoson give away??? And are you going to go back tomorrow?

 

the twoson giveaway is the contest or giveaway that i won. the chicao coin cub has requested that i come but i have lot of work tomororw evening and i am feeling beat right now if i feel better tomorrow i might go coz both carl and steve sincerely requested that i come we will see. they are great people and i will go if i am up to it

i had to let 2 auctions on Ebay slip by me the last 2 days for world notes. Good thing i did too .. cost me $500 to have my brakes done up all like new tonight.
