Here are my newest additions fresh out of the mail today. Not dates that I needed just some varieties that I wanted. Neither coin is high grade, but I just liked the way they look and they are in better shape than some of the others I have seen. To me they are very nice new additions. Attributions are included in the picture title.
Nice coins....But I do have a question. That blue carpet...is that just a small piece that you lay coins on or is that in your WHOLE house....j/k nice coins though
Heh, heh... At least it's not deep shag carpet! Reminds me of when I was a kid back in the 70s and my parents bought a new house with beautiful hardwood floors. They promptly covered it all up with bright red deep shag carpeting and did that weird stucco pattern with gold glitter thing to the ceilings too. Over thirty years ago, and it STILL gives me nightmares...
Not blue - but a dark green golf towel. And yes I see the bluish color, probably caused by the lighting. As it is I wish my carpet was dark green - then I would not have to clean it as much. And being single there would be nobody to make me replace it.:smile My mother got this golf towel for me about 15 years ago - it was much to nice for me to use on the golf course. As it is I think the green makes the copper coins look nicer.
Yep - so do I. A few tick marks, but a nice place clear overdate example. Thanks for all the comments. And for the carpet comments - I should have a couple of new capped bust halves tomorrow. I will put those directly on my carpet for pictures just to see what that color turns out to be. AND YES - I do remember that old mutli-color gold red shag carpet from the 70's. Now if I had that I would certainly replace it.
