What is missing here...70 S

    Who can spot what is missing in the pics of this 1970 s? And if/when you spot it...is this a known error,or is it an error at all?

    I don't see anything besides perhaps Abe's bowtie being a bit less defined than normal.

    that's first image from my scope, I dident try hard to focus, but the date needs fixed, lol that's a 70S

    From what I understand, anytime this occurs it is from an over abraded die or grease filled die. For some reason, I think with the 1969 LMC this is a collectable variety along with the "floating roof," but in other years it is nothing but a "keep it if you like it" type thing.

    I'm not sure as I'm still learning and fairly new to the game. If anyone more experienced is around I'm sure they can explain it better.

    the 9 points at the S, and the 7 is low, its a large date.

    yes, its a shallow im sure it was greas filled die. but im no expert either.
