has anyone noticed how much the slabbed proof sets are selling for on EBAY. Up around $200 for some of them.

Really? Wow. I just got mine today. That would be a great profit. I will post pictures on Saturday if anyone is interested.

I dont see the point in paying that much for those coins. The ones in my proof sets look just as good, if not better than those that are given a PR96 grade, and I got them for a lot less than the $50 that a PR 69 set is going for! And SCREW paying $200 for a PR 70 set! Its just not worth it in my eyes. And most dealers I have talked to say that to them there is no such thing as a 69 or 70.

Yeah, I tought that the price was a bit out there. people are paying it however. It makes me want to send mine out for grading..... if I ever get them from the mint!!!!

Wow, that is a whole lot of money for the PR70, to me there is not a $150 dollar difference between 70 and 69, or does this really matter?

    Unreal!!!

Aren't they like $15.00 a set from the mint?

And shouldn't they be close to PR69 anyway? I mean with the process the mint uses today, minus the occasional oops.

Slabbed coins sure bring the cash out of the wallet for some people huh?
