Hey there, did you travel already back to US? Hope you are doing good, as well @Seattlite86 for these kind of coins MA-Shops is outstanding since MA-Shops has a lot of german dealers, but who am I telling this- you know already….
I just received my second package in as many weeks with the treasures I collect. I am very pleased!! The two dealers were Knopik and Kunker am dom.
Just did a large deal with pegasusauctions. They are a dealer on MA-shops and very active, always adding new items and removing stuff that sold. Ma-shops is becoming more popular to me vs ebay!
Can't really speak to medievals or world coins, but both MA-Shops and Vcoins are very much overpriced compared to a more free market (e.g. a $5 Roman on ebay will be listed for $25-50; a $50 coin for $250 etc) although there are occasional deals to be had. I tend to buy lower and mid grade stuff on ebay, and mid to upper grade stuff at auction.
MA-Shops payment options include (in addition to PayPal) wire transfer, credit card, debit card, etc. Dealers offer varying methods.
The reason I emphasize PayPal that it is the cheapest way to pay for items. Where I live, wire transfers and international money orders are expensive, ie. Wire transfers= $50.00, IMO=$45 fees. P.P also has insurance. Debit and Credit cards are their own nightmare. Your experience maybe different. I regret saying that the MA Shops dealers only accept P.P. exclusively. What I meant to write that I use it exclusively. With that said, MA-SHOPS and their dealers are second to none.
It's great you are always able to use PayPal with success; that has been my experience as well. It's also great to hear of your experience with MA-Shops and their Certified Dealers...they are committed to integrity and customer service for both collectors and sellers. Have a Happy 4th everyone...stay safe!
