1982 P Washington quarter with no collar ? Letters look pushed together.

  1. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Maybe post mint damage ? "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" i have another 82' but the letters are clear distinct and spaced correctly. It also still has a reed on it. Idk lol Thanks to all !!:)

    Meow has found quarters of that year commonly have those flaws.

    Meow has CRH 10 rolls of quarters a week for 15 months. So has seen quite a few examples of poorly struck die deteriorated 1982s.
    1983s are just as bad. Meow took picks of the worst one Meow ever found.
