I'll have a little fun with you guys on this one. What's the chance this is a CC Anyone else know anything about the sticker? (Other then the seller on thebay with the peace dollar, that's the only one Google search would reveal)
Yeah it did - but to rehash a question here about buying for long term appreciation to make money. Ehem this coin appreciated $2k in 1.5 years. I will post a GTG later
Hello, Great forum and thread, seems to be some extremely sharp VAM members here...and I was wondering if you prefer to have the coin graded in the slab as a VAM or just straight graded and know it is in fact a particular VAM ? Here is a Morgan example, straight grade or ask for VAM designation ? Any opinions on a grade ? Thanks !
Nice entrance Michele! Welcome to CT.. I'm assuming you'll want to get this into a PCGS slab and therefore the VAM designation may not be an option, I think. A phone call to PCGS would certainly answer the question if this were the route you are thinking. edit to add - If PCGS does not offer that VAM designation on the label and you would like it attributed in the slab, the logical solution is VSS. Yes I have had both companies look at the stain and both feel as though the coin would take too much of a hit to have it removed … its okay though - Its a O/CC its also a VAM-8
