Is this a lamination error? I can't tell if it is or not. I tried scratching it with my thumb to see if it was some substance on top of the coin, but nothing happened. Also, does anyone have a good picture of a "Phantom mintmark" coin?
I don't see a lamination. I see a couple lumps on the rim, but I can't tell if they are rim bumps or rim cuds.
I took the photo and lightened it up a lot and see no signs of lamination. I do see some rim dings as said above.
