Canada 1982 5 Cents, error or not?

    I sent this specimen into SEGS and they thought it was post mint damage. What do you think? Accurate call made or not? The particular area of interest is at 5 o'clock on the beaver side.

    That is definitely post mint damage. Your coin has been punctured with something, although, I cannot think of an exact method used to deface it.
