Since I sold all of my U.S. coin collection years ago I decided to start over collecting 2 Reichsmark German coins..for one, they are very controversial, being banned in some countries because of what they represent and the swastikas on the coin. Regardless, I have decided to put together a set of these coins ...knowing almost nothing about them, but I am researching along the way. Whats disappointing though is that I can't find a coin album specifically made for these so I'm forced to leave them in the cardboard 2x2s.

You can also buy the gold foil letters and numerals to date your coins. I use Wizard Coin Supply. There are others that also sell this.

I just ordered the album and some pages from the links that you provided. I like Dansco but I've always been partial to Whitman I've been using their products for almost 40 years.

I was also a Whitman fan but the albums took a beating with no slip cases. After adding additional pages to many they also began to sag and twist. I have only a few Whitman left with the rest being Dansco & Littleton.

I was fortunate enough to snag a German Republic Dansco Continental album on Ebay right after it had been listed. Probably not the best move for my budget, as some of the 5 mark coins in this set are prohibitively expensive, but what can you do?

I've noticed that also...especially the Lincoln Cent album when it had 6 or 7 pages Now there is two albums in that series.

You can look at the German lighthouse website to see if you get any ideas. www.leuchtturm.de
