1943 copper cent

    A friend of mine just sent me this picture:

    A friend of his sent him the pic knowing that I was into coins. His dad was in WWII and gave these to him. I responded with "see if a magnet sticks to both of them". His response was "yup, bummer".

    I wonder how many of these plated cents are out there?

    @desertgem - Thanks for the clipping. I didn't realize it went to that length. Better plated than an altered other date though in my opinion.
