See the "halo" around the head, the letters, the stars? That's a giveaway that it was cleaned/polished.

 

this glossy washed effect is an impression given by the plastic bag actually outside the bag is different

 

these haloes around the head and the wings do not exist they are only reflections of light if you see it with an eye and not from photos there are not these haloes

 

The color (unnatural dull blue) and the texture of the surface (glossy) are classic indicators of an old cleaning. The texture never goes away

That is a result of the different composition of the lights incident on the coin. For example, if you have a blueish light, the the blues will stand out.

 

In the photos in post #61, I can see the reflections on the holder, and I can see the reflections on the coin. It is easy to differentiate the two. The surfaces of yours are glossy, which indicate it has had an old cleaning. The lack of any original mint luster confirms this.

It is simple thin film interference physics. You get a nice rainbow in pure white light. Changing the light color (RGB composition) will change the colors seen on the coin.

 

We are just being forthright and honest about your coin. The luster has been damaged. Just appreciate it as a somewhat attractive item passed down to you. That is worth something, even if it's monetary value is not as high as perhaps you had hoped.

 

Some types of cleaning are easy to spot and others are not, from images. The best type of cleaning is when you can't see any signs of cleaning.
