Hello everyone, I came across this quarter and was just wondering if the edge of the this quarter looks like it's missing considered an error? The word James Town is missing the J., just curious. Thanks for your expert information.
When I was little I had a quarter I rubbed when I was anxious for a couple of years. It looked kinda like this at one point when eventually it broke.
PMD - Post Minting damage What you see on the coin, (rims/edges, etc.) all occurred to it after it was already in circulation.
