Picked up $500 in quarters in the quest for a "W". No "W" to be found. Also was shorted on 3 rolls with a nickel and two cents. Did find this 2005P West Virginia CUD though so I guess it evens out...

Switched it up to quarters today. $500 box later and I found 4 Bicentennials and ZERO 2019’s. LMAO!! I really suck at this.

I looked for all the errors I know of...nada. What’s up with 2009 quarters? I know they minted less but is there really any value worth searching for in circulated ones?

other than the low mintage not really. i know a few people that would pay 50 cents per quarter for the 2009 ones though.

I don’t think sorting through 2000 quarters to find a couple of .50 quarters is gonna be in the cards for me. Now tell me they sell for $20+ and I might start digging them out!

Last box of halves for the week - no silver, tough week! Did find 1 x 1974-D DDO and 6 very colorful toners which I assume are artificially toned. Also 10 x 2002+ NIFCs. There’s always next week! ;)

There weren't many people there and the wind was blowing pretty hard. The wooden planes flew pretty well.
The foam stuff electric (FW-109 And P-47) could hover in the wind. A foam F-22 was able to fight through the wind pretty good. A REALLY light foam stick plane could back up in the wind. My buddy that told me about the field says he will give me a plane. I'm thinking of a small electric Cub that I can fly at home. So far out of my box of mostly Cointainer wrappers aren't giving up a lot of copper or wheat. Tomorrow I'm going to trade two rolls of quarters and one of dimes for another box.

Oh yeah, if Benny gives me a plane the Radio for it will be $150 plus.
Could be quite a while before I can get one....

Check out all my marked coins I found in the first four boxes for this week, Box 1 had the most with no silver, and the other 3 had marked coins in them as well. Still look what pulled, 7-90%ers, 1-62 Bennie, 6-64s 4 D's, 37-40%ers, 6-65, 12-66, 8-67, 8-68, 2-69, 1-76S Silver Proof, 1-87D. I also had a total of 6 enders, missed 2 until I opened the rolls. I wasn't confident I was going to find any silver because of that marked ender, and I pulled a boat load of silver. All those coins I marked at least twice this year. So this shows new silver is being dumped into the system today. Most of the time when I get boxes with coins I marked, there is very little to no silver. Today was an exception for sure. Yet very encouraging for everyone taking part in this hobby. Keep pressing on even when you think there is no more silver flowing your way, here is the proof new silver is being dumped every day. Wishing everyone the best of luck. Keep Stacking!!!
Lets not forget the stack of NIFC Coins Too!

Par for the course these days...unless you get one of these magic boxes I see posted here. So far that’s never happened to me though.

  19. Picked up some crappy looking rolls of dimes here in Columbus, Ohio. After 5 finally the 6th roll had 3 reverse leaf errors and this beautiful 1881 USA 3 CENT COIN! Thanks to whoever put it out there for the Great American Coin Hunt. Needed for my collection. Let me know what you guys think!

@Arby - I have a bunch of those dated NIFCs, i hate that guy. I thought he was local;) He could easily do that to the many bicentennials or 71 Ds to track his coins. Haven't had much luck with silver in Northern NM, so I've turned to pennies and nickels, at least until tomorrow when I get a box of halves.
Found a lot of great MD - a 69 S LMC scared me pants off until I saw the doubling was going wrong direction;) Nice MD on a 1972 S. Always some die cracks (or pmd) to be found and plenty of woodies I won't bore you with here. One 1923.
