    Who died?!? Just to help get you over your first hurdle here, the correct term is Doubled Die. Expect some ribbing from "the crew" here. But don't take it to heart. Just remember, E.V.E.R.Y.B.O.D.Y. that pecks at the keys on this site, at one time, didn't know the correct term used there.
    Be that as it may, Welcome to CT and don't worry about asking questions, dealing with pics or anything that might have you wondering. These people are the most knowledgeable you will find on the net when it comes to coins. Domestic, Foreign or Ancient. They will amaze you.

    Imho,Looks like md machine doubling or die deterioration.

    No @Mathhewg24 what you have is split plating doubling which I would refer to error reference website but it seems to be down.

    Not a Doubled Die... Just DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling
    Worthless doubling that has nothing at all to do with a true Doubled Die variety

    Worthless doubling. A lot of people make the mistake you did so this should help:
    Died Someone left this world
    Dyed Like tie dyeing a t-shirt
    Die Used to make coins

    The correct term is Doubled Die.
