Unsure for sure.. opinions on my 1963 D?

There seems to be some sort of splintering or a rising chip of the obverse. Cannot find a reference online so I assume pmd... thoughts? That's as close as my good camera gets.

Imho, it’s difficult to tell in your photos. Could be a possible retained lamination or pmd.
