Got both of these in pocket change over the last few years. I’m sure it’s just considered PMD and not worth anything but pretty cool anyway!
You can purchase metal punch stamps from amazon, etsy, etc which allow any one to punch these small designs onto coins (or anything else). So it's considered PMD, as the surface of the coin was damaged by something after it left the US MINT. such as these : https://www.amazon.com/s?k=metal+punch+stamp+designs&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
The technical term is "counter stamped" coins You'll also find 3rd party companies making "series" of coins of all 50 states stamped on pennies, etc. You can find about any design that you can carve onto something else to stamp on something like a penny. It's quite unlimited and it's been done for decades. Just search etsy or ebay for complete sets off various "counter stamped" coins. Such as a series of counter stamped states Some people collect them. Some people make them, for some people to collect. Some people just make them because you can and it costs nothing as the penny is still worth 1 cent after it is damaged.
