I think I found a good one.

Since nobody I know understands why I was excited to find this, I thought I would share it with people that will appreciate it. I find star notes at work but they are never in good shape or have good numbers but this one surprised me.

I'd keep it primarily due to the nature of its low serial number.

 

Nice low number, but not low enough to have much value over face IMHO. A keeper in my book, just for nice low number and condition.

 

Congratulations! Very nice find, and thanks for sharing. It’s quite rare to find such a low star in circulation. Only time I’ve seen a note with such a low number and a star was a $1 I got in 2015.

A fairly low star note. Not in bad condition either. Afraid it will be valued at face or just over as the number is not low enough to catch the eye of an experienced collector.

Nice find on a lower serial replacement note @Felix Levi , throw it in a quality mylar currency sleeve.

 

Relatively low run size number for a star note and low number. Definitely a keeper imho. Congrats on you find!
