Bullet Hole in Lincoln's Head 2009 D

    Saw this bullet hole in Lincolns head, and thought wow-- Lincoln was shot in the back of the head!.. Up close on microscope it looks like a rim and primer on a casing with a strike mark where the primer was hit to fire... Ironic? Even if not worth anything, its pretty sick!

    it might be PMD but it is interesting. this is where i bring up the obverse designs of other modern coins if you look at the quarter, dime, nickel, and penny, you will notice that the first three look to the left. but Lincoln looks to the right...once shot from behind, you cant be too careful

    I really hate threads like this. Others have made similar threads called Assassination Cents.. I think it's morbid :shifty:

    Sorry paddyman.. never heard of the assassination coin.. but it does make sense i guess. By sick, I meant cool :)
