I'm planning on attending. Anyone else from the Ancients forum going? July 11-13 in the Orlando Convention Center.
Hey VK (and anyone else who is going) I hope you stop by and say hello, I'll be in the bargain section. It's always great to meet Cointalk folks.
You know, Brian, I was at the last FUN, and totally missed seeing you. My apologies, and I look forward to meeting you this summer!
I might go. Right now I'm about 60% certain I will. Let's just see how my schedule is as we get closer to July.
I just made my hotel reservations, so I will be at the show Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Can’t wait @ValiantKnight, are you organizing an Ancient CT get together at Summer FUN?
I'm afraid that it looks like I won't be able to go this time. I have a trial coming up the week after that and I'll be busy with trial preparations. I'm not sure my client would appreciate me looking at ancient coins when I should be 100% focused on the case.
Nothing organized, just had in mind something like “if you’re going Thursday/Friday I’ll be there and wearing this”, but would be nice to have something formal organized. Maybe go someplace to eat afterwards. I’ll only be staying one day, haven’t decided between Thurs or Friday.
I was planning to visit Summer FUN this year. However, My wife and I decided to visit Florida in May and June instead (we are there/here now), rather than in the summer. It would have been great to meet some of you in person. But, July is just too hot!
It's too darn hot now!!! I don't believe July can be any hotter. Heat and cold to me are definitive. It can only get so hot or cold and any higher or lower temperature makes no difference. I don't think I will be able to make it again this year. My wife just had surgery and she needs care for the next month or so. I'm as busy as a one armed paper hanger. Every time I go outside for even just a few minutes, I come in drenched in sweat.
I hope your wife recovers well, Bing. You are right, It is too hot already in Florida! I only go out until 9:00 in the morning, and then stay indoors of out under a roof all day, and only venture outside again as of 18:00 to go to the beach or biking, etc. Still, we like it here...(german summers are a lottery, you have to heat the house sometimes because it is cool, or it can be hellishly warm and w/o air-conditioning...)
