Hello I have a 1970 D Quarter and on reverse side of coin there is a very faint 1941 above Dollar . I have screenshots of it if anyone could take a look at it . I Know was supposedly on proof coins only but there is a 1941 on back of this coin so something is wrong somewhere I email Fred Weinberg n he told me to come here and post it and see what others think .

No, it is just circulation dings and wear. If it were truly on a 1941 it would be on a silver planchet instead of the usual copper nickel.

I just don't see anything resembling 1941. I am sure it is the normal copper nickel clad isn't it?

I see no 1941 on it anywhere. I even looked st the area you marked and I can't see anything close to a resemblance of a 1941.

Were those people you asked experienced coin collectors? You'd be surprised at the number of people who are liable to see anything that their imagination can conjure up.

What do you see in this?

The famous quarter 1970 with the 1941 Canadian, is an S proof coin.
There's only 1 of them. It was manufactured intentionally by mint workers.
There's nothing about a Denver coin.
I don't see 1941 on your coin. All I see are the leaves and letters on the reverse.
Are you seeing a US 1941 quarter on your coin? Maybe some better photos.
I don't even see a hint of anything out of the ordinary. AM I BEING PUNKED?
Is it just a coincidence that you are seeing 1941 on your 1970-D quarter or have you read/ seen something about the 1970/1941 connection?

What about the insurance commercial with a biker heading straight for an ostrich. This is the view from the rear of the bike.

In that case Darry's head is on backwards.

When one looks at a coin through magnification that high, there’s no telling what the eyes will see.
