Oh, I know you didn't call it a fad, but when the aforementioned V Kurt Bellman called it a fad or hoax or fraud, he received very little pushback from the members of this forum. My overall point is that eye appeal is never going to go out of style, and people will always pay a premium for attractive coins.

In fairness, in hand it looked better than a 66. I did not sell directly to the current owner, but it now appears in the #2 toned Lincoln registry set on the PCGS boards.
