    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but all are damaged.
You really should take some time to learn about the minting process to determine the difference between true mint errors and plain old damage.

Plane? Twin Towers?.. That's really morbid!
As stated.. None are Mint Errors

Thanks . I know the plane and tower are not mint errors . Some how 911 was brought up somewhere an I got to looking at the coin and thought it was kind of paculiar. There are all of very real mint errors in this coin . What do you guys think

What would be the difference between damaged and mnt errors. So ,is there any value to a damaged coin

No errors, worth 25 cents, just spend it.

Forgive me for saying this as I maybe naieve to this but all of these pics are on one coin. All the other denomination strikes, the extra lettering. The coin was danm near split in half . The reverse of the coin was struck on the obverse side . That's not mint error. Just damage . I'm sorry a mint error, double dies that skip or vibrate on part of a coin is mint error not damage. Or is mint error not the little piece of fuzz or cloth that gets stuck a mint error and not damage. What is the difference between a damaged die break and a mint error

All I see is a quarter that looks badly damaged. It may have spent some time in a parking lot or on a road. Maybe post some clearer pictures of what you are seeing, but I see nothing but damage.

Yepper, best not to throw numismatic terms out there if you actually don't know what they are.

The more damaged it is, the less it’s worth, damaging effects the value a LOT. So there is no added value to damaged coins.

Not that there would be any real numismatic value to a BU state quarter either.

There can if it is truly uncirculated. But still it’ll still wouldn’t be worth over $1.

When we say damaged, it refers to the fact it happened after the coin was struck. Errors happen up to the point it's struck. Everything on your coin happened after it was struck.
