In the last $200 of MWR halves I had leftover to search I found a minor '71D MAD...I will avoid MWRs whenever I can in my area in the future b/c they stink...Very discouraging!

How many 74-D DDOs do you have? I’ve yet to find one and am envious :)

    This represents searching 25,000 nickels.

There are 168 silver nickels, or about 1 per every 4 rolls.

There are 95 Buffalo nickels and 7 liberty nickels. That’s about 1 per 6 rolls.

That’s 1 of either buffalo or liberty nickel every 2.3 rolls.

About 35 Canadian nickels, or about 1 per 18 rolls. These mean a slight loss for me, but the 4x 20 Rappen coins help offset, since I can redeem those.

This represents searching 2,000 half dollars. No 74-D DDOs. The 2x 1972-D’s still show a trace of the FG, so they don’t count, but are the closest I’ve come. Some small MADs, nothing spectacular.

Somewhere around 125. I’m in the process of breaking them out of comment fields in my spreadsheet as I originally thought they would be too rare to make a separate column for. That’ s from around 300,000 halves searched.

Man, I can't even find a single 2019-P or D let alone rolls of them to search for the W! :banghead::banghead::banghead: Hope you get some nice Ps for your collection.

Today I deposited the $770 in halves I’d picked up here and there and searched over the last several weeks. I found nothing in them.

While at the bank I asked all 3 the tellers on duty if they had any halves. Only the teller handling my transaction had any, which was $5 worth.

Lo and behold my recent silver skunk ended as she handed me the $5 worth of loose halves. I’m very pleased with 4, 40%ers! The thrill never gets old

I still have my original unopened roll from the Feb release event and kept a single nice specimen out for a friend. It was hard not getting at least one W, so prolly back to dimes and halves. Fingers crossed that I'll get to hit a hot drop spot for the GACH Fri mornin as well!

I’m not much of a quarter CRHer, but I got the bug to find a 2019-W Lowell. So after searching a few rolls here and there unsuccessfully earlier this week, I finally broke down and bought a sealed Loomis box today. I just finished it and did not find a single 2019 of any mint mark, let alone a W. Also found no silver although based on my poor experience searching quarters in the past, I didn’t expect to find any silver. But it wasn’t a complete waste of time as I did find:
    2 x Delaware “Spitting Horse”
1 x Arizona “Extra Leaf Cactus”
1 x New York Impaired Proof
A handful of 2018 Philly ATB hole fillers for my 3 albums.
In all my inquiries at the various banks I belong to around my mid-size town the past 2 weeks, I have yet to find any 2019 Lowell Quarters. I may try one more box hoping for 2019 rolls, and a W. Otherwise I’ll stick with my halves of which I am on a 2 box skunk streak, but picking up 2 more boxes by Saturday.

Bank had 300 in MRW for me. Didn't search yet. Caught a glimpse of the teller tray and asked her for the 1 half there. It was a 1968! I haven't gotten any silver in a while so it is good to see some now!

I stopped at 2 banks today. 1 had $50 in MWR halves. I found a ‘71D very light FG, and a stickered Vietnam War commemorative, which is better than nada.

The other bank had 1 half, which was a 2012P NIFC. This is the bank with my favorite head teller who recently moved up and manages her own branch. She told me she would call the cash vault and ask about Ikes tomorrow.

She also told me the cash vault was closing forever in a little over 1 week. She said another company will takeover, but she’ll lose her direct, personal connection there and possibly the ability to order Ikes...Bummer, but I knew things would change with time. I’ll hope for the best.

Did $800 of quarters today. About $650 CWR and $150 MWR. Skunked but for 2 "In God We Rust" Kansas quarters.

$500 box of halves...silver skunked again. Did find 12 NIFC’s and 1 1978 deep cameo gem proof. Not really even worth the time to search to be honest.

Did find 8 gem Lowell quarters at work though...all D’s:(

I'm still hanging around. Messing with pennies.
Getting a few good copper and the odd wheat.
Enough 60s that I can make a perfect roll if I take the time.
Same with copper. Close to the same in wheats.
Today I'm going to an RC flying field in Livingston to see what is going on some 40 years after I flew RC.

Planes got a lot faster, I think. And quieter (electric), and louder (jets).
