Hi, I've had this coin for quite a while now but i haven't found what it is and what its value maybe , i was told its silver and thats all i know. Any help would be appreciated ~~The Collector~~
it looks an awful lot like this coin: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/5539/polriga/2sigi.html 3 Grossus type II Data: Ag, 2.34-2.51 g, 21.0-22.6 mm Description: Obv: Crowned bust of Sigismund III Vasa left. Portrait with a large beard. Legend around: SIGxIIIxDxG:REX.PO:LI Rev: The big coat of arms of Riga. Legend in 6 lines: xIIIx/15 95/GR OS/ARG.TRIP/CIVIxRI/xGE* Coinage: 1590-1601, 1603, 1619 References: Gum.1450-1454; Fed.661, 663, 666, 668, 671, 673, 675, 678, 680, 683, 685, 711; KM.14 Note: Legend punctuation and abbreviation varieties exist. as for value, i imagine the holing reduces this somewhat, unless the coin is remarkably scarce. very cool! v.
