How much is a 1941-p ddo worth? Has anyone heard of a In God We Rust nickel?

Welcome to the addicting world of coin collecting. There tends to be those of us that are lovers of the old coins and then others that are experts on the error side of coins. I am in the old coin lovers group and do love your Mercury dime. It is a common date and appears that it may have been cleaned. And cleaning is never a good thing for coins. It is maybe a two dollar coin...... Now, as I said I am not one of the error experts. However I would suspect that your nickel is what they call a "struck through grease" version. When that occurs it tends to eliminate some of the coins details. On yours it would be the "T" in trust. Interesting but doesn't add a great deal of value as they are rather common. But I will defer to the experts on the error side.

Nickel - Worn Die Strike. The letter R was struck through grease. Worth? 5 Cents

I'm not seeing any doubling at all.
Just a circulated Silver Dime.

Interesting Nickel. The Obverse is a worn die strike. The Reverse looks normal.

The 1972 is too blurry of a picture to determine anything.

 

What do you think happened around Roosevelt's head?

 

Hi, Jasongj, welcome aboard! First, enthusiasm is arguably a good quality (just look at my name) but, it's a double edged sword.
Instead of posting coin after coin, take a good look at each and compare them to photos of the real thing on Wexler's, lincolncentresource.com, or another variety/error website. If you think you've got one that's on the books, THEN post it, with the intention of fully rubbing your find in our faces and driving us nuts. (For how to do this, check out Timsherman6's 1992 Close AM he just posted, the cad!)
Otherwise, you'll end up like the kid crying wolf, with no one paying attention when you hit the real thing.

Welcome to CT Jason. It is usually better to post one coin at a time, with in focus full obverse and reverse, properly orientated, and cropped of extraneous background and then well focused close ups of those areas you have questions about. You will get more responses than posting a bunch of different coins.

 

Like @Mountain Man says it’s proper to post one coin per posting. Let us know your questions about the coin. Images of both Obverse and Reverse sides. Properly oriented and cropped to exclude anything but the coin like this. This makes it easier for us to help you. Welcome to CT.
