1935 Buffalo GTG

    I picked this up yesterday take a stab grading this buffalo. 1935 BN 2019 obv (2).jpg 1935 BN 2019 Rev. (2).jpg

    MS65 at least, possibly MS66. She's a beauty for sure.

    How bad is that rim notch above the second S in States on the reverse. MS63 if that doesn't hold it back from straight grading.

    That's part of the slab...rim has no issues.

    Good! I saw what you posted you paid for it yesterday which was less than 63 money so I will bump my guess to 64:D

    Edit: way less than 60 money, actually!

    Slab says 64, but I like it at 65.

    Well I purchased an 1913 ty 1 last week for $20 same dealer. Nicely toned buffalo.

    20190421_141835.jpg so can you see the area between the red lines....that is an area that a thin lamination peel pulled off the platchet. You can tell by the area between the red lines edges is ragged just like the edge of an lamination peel is. Anacs said this specimen has corrosion. .if that was the case it wouldn't have the shape this area does.....the tone of this coin makes the eye believe that the area in question is part of the buffalos cape. Again this coin would grade under todays standards.
    This is a nice strike and clean fields...pretty color in light ....and surly worth more than $10.
