1943-P doubled eye

Hello and good evening !!

Im playing hooky from work tonight and was going thru some nickels, Im thinking about eliminating them ,, I just dont seem to have the high interest in Nickels that I do in Mercs and lincoln cents,

Anyways Ive got this 1943-P nickel that I believe is a doubled eye,it also exhibits doubling in the lettering ,but Im having problems attributing it, Breens picture is weak and I cant find a good pic on the net,and I cant take one close up enough to post here ,Ive tried several times ,,but I guess my photo equipment is just not good enough.

Anyone here have a good pic of one of these I would surely appreciate it !!!

Is it on an ordinary nickel,or is it on one of the War Nicks,which have silver in them?

 

The 1943-P is a war nickel which contains 35% silver .

 

The War Nicks are very difficult to find in high grade.All the ones that turn up over here in New Zealand are very worn.

 

Beautiful set GDJMSP,, But really Im just trying to figure these out so I can sell them or something, Really dont seem to have the passion for them,, I enjoy seeing them ,, But they do not light the desire like the lincolns and mercs do .

I accumulated some over the years but never paid them much mind , I guess now I know why .

Ive got my eye on a couple of 24-D lincolns that I have a deep desire to own.

Interesting,, The doubling on the eye and lettering is very visable under a little magnification,, It would make me happy for it to be true,

Here's a photo of one. Notice the extra eye lid just southwest of the regular eye.

The coin that I have exhibits the same feature ,my photo is no where as good as yours nor is the coin as beautiful but from your picture my coin is the same.
