I am still sorting my 70 year accumulation and would like some help on this 1889 CC Morgan. I label it as 1889-CC VAM-5A with Die Breaks. It is in spec for size and weight. Please give some feedback.

From my perspective there may be a factor missing in your analysis. I have been a serious collector since 1948. I have all but 3 of the Morgan Dollars and all the Peace. My collection of US coins is virtually complete for the 20th Century. Up until I retired I only paid attention to Date, Mint Mark and Eye Appeal. I only started surveying my accumulation because I have a lot of extra time and many grandchildren and great grandchildren I want to split these up for. I have never had a coin certified. The certification process is relatively new as the hobby goes. How many old-timers like me are out there with serious collections that nobody knows about? The vast majority of people my age have bad eyes and worse computer skills. This "ungraded" 1889-CC just surfaced today as far as known population is concerned.
I tallied up a collection for 2 brothers once years ago. Their father had passed. He had mostly junk silver but tossed in that junk, rattling around with dirty war nickels was a VF details 1889 CC Morgan. Cleaned, sadly. I placed it in a flip and told them "you'll want to take better care of this one."
Thanks. Since using CT Forum I have found that there is more than Date, Mint Mark and Eye Appeal. They need TLC. I have tried to maintain them in safe conditions. But, the techniques and equipment I used were old school. I am in the process of changing my approach.
