They are avail, but what is the right cost. I know what the bill costs but what kind of prem is added for lower serial numbers??????
I have a publication that has an advertisement for a 1 dollar FRN 1999 E 00000016 E in VF/XF condition for $125. Lou
as was said above - both are perfect notes to the right collector, and certainly will go for more then face! As for what is the correct amount.. well, each auction goes for whatever someone is willing to pay. I know that sounds like a no brainer.. but 2 auctions for the same note, same quality .. very well could sell for vastly different prices. I dont think there is a 'price guide' for this sort of collecting, but i could be wrong. Low serial notes prices are set at the auction hammer... so if you really want thr notes, bid away
Thats a pretty sexy sawbuck. The $100 wouldnt be a bad thing to own. But given the fold marks. If it was much over face I would pass. If i had to pick one, I would pick the $10 note.
That 10 sold for 192.50. a little higher than I wanted to spend....lol but now the same person has this one up for auction....would of been nice to have both of then in sequential order but not for 400.00 :hail:http://cgi.ebay.com/2001-10-00-FRN-...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...PageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=014#ebayphotohosting
humm lets see. They have 100 $10.00 bills. So face is $1000.00. Assuming that they get close to $190 for each bill, that comes out to $19,000. Not bad for one thousand in tens......lol
