Added a bunch of world notes

Ok, so over the last few weeks, i have added alot of new notes. I also added alot of informational pages. Everything i have done for 2008 can be found Here

if you are interested in any of the information pages i set up, click Here and on the menu to the left, click Miscleaneous, and then click Things to know, and then any of the topics listed. If anything is incorrect in any of the pages, i would appreciate if you could let me know. Also, i do have a list of things to add to that 'things to know list', but if there is a topic you would like to see covered, if you let me know, i will add it to my list

I sill have 22 world countries to add, consisting of about 60 notes. I also have an assortment of notes i need to scan that i recently got from a trade with a CT memeber in Indonesia some cool notes in there! I will try to let everyone know when i get those posted!

What some cool notes you have added to the collection! I really like the Biafra Notes with the Orange setting Sun and Palm tree!! The notes from Cuba are striking as well. I jst spent at least 30-35 min looking around at all the things you have added and done to your site! Great Job!

The wife has been a wee bit upset with me as of late. She thinks i have eben spending too much time at the PC. She could be right but i was able to post note for 2 more countries tonight....

added a bunch of countries the last few days. added a lot of notes, alot of background coding, and added or changed monetary historical evolution information of several countries:

Russia added some notes
Dijibouti added a note
Iran added some notes
Kenya added a note
Pakistan added some notes
Qatar added some notes
Iraq added monetary historical info
Peru added some history and a note
Philippines added some history and some notes

i am running out of world notes to post at this point. I do have some Nepal, India, Italy, and several Eastern Block countries. After i get those posted, i am afraid i will have to resort to maintenance items. Alot of countries i posted prior to my obtaining my Krause books, were not attributed. This needs to be done. After i get all that set up, i will finish my US notes section. I wanted to finish the world notes becuase they number alot less then my US notes. After that, coins! and they far outnumber my US notes. it will be a long climb

 

Great looking notes Mate and what can I say about the site other than I think it looks great. Hopefully I will be able to start posting stuff again before to long and will be on the lookout for a few lots of world stuff so who knows there might well be some bits floating across the pond again LOL

i have recently found a few countries where i have posted content, and historical accounts of certain countries.. yet, they were not showing on my site it seems, i have a slight problem with uploading everything when i am done entering it onto the web pages. I had to load Peru, Bhutan and India today. None of them showed any of the updates i made this last round. I "Think" they are all loaded

I check quite regularly cus I like the layout and the history Little extra info for you on the Dutch in Brazil, they actualy landed and built there first fort about a mile away from our home over there on the island of Intamaraca :smile

 

Added Napal tonight. I also went back to the Italy and Kyrgyzstan pages posted earlier and added all the note descriptions. They frown upon me having all my Krause books open on my desk at work WHILE working.. go figure But i do alot of posting over my lunch hour.

 

How inconsiderate of them!! you mean they make you work Dont they realise that what you are doing is for the good of humanity LOL

It would seem that yet another country was left off my site after updating. Thanks to a Mike for pointing this out. Apparently, Mike heard of cointalk from my site so hopefully he will join.

Anyhoot ... here is the missing page..
Russia's MMM Bank several notes are shown.

If you have never heard of the MMM bank, you can eaither read about it at my site, or google has an abundance of information on it. The notes did circulate as 'money' (alot of times prefered over the ruble) but the whole bank was a huge pyramid scheme.

 

I finally did it. Did what you might ask? I was finally able to go through my Argentina page, and post descriptions for all the notes. Actually, it took 3 days to do. I have alot more there then i thought!

i know what you mean. i have a ton of Pesos Argentinos, and several Australes... but i do not (yet) have any Pesos. I will have to look for a few, just to have some
