Should I keep it?

I received this 1977 $100 note today. Unfortunately, since my general rule with high denominations is to keep either crisp unc., star, or really old bills, I haven’t decided whether it’s worth keeping. What do you think, fellow paper money collectors?

I'd spend it since the Series of 1977 $100 NY FRN had a print run of 166.4 million. Not to mention, the writing in the lower right corner.

    Thanks for the tag :)

As with everything, having to do with paper money or anything in
General condition is the number one rule, you always start there
And work forward, the condition of this bill is very rough, at best
It would be a filler, but i wouldnt lose any sleep over spending it.

Me? It would depend on who gave it to me - Idk enough about dates & series yet - it looks nice but $100 is $100 - If Grama gave it to me I'd hang on to it

Then again - My daughter was born in '77...I'd use it to buy her a '77 Mint set & pay bills?
