It's been awhile since I posted anything due to work and all but I just got my tips for the week and found this beauty in with my tips

I see a torn & wrinkled $5 FRN...I could't read the series, but is 1969 long enough ago to have some special interest? Or is there something else unique about it?

PS: I know almost nothing about paper currencies, U.S. or otherwise, so this query is based on gross ignorance. If congratulations are in order: Bravo! Nice Piece!

It's nothing super special it's just a 50 year old 5 dollar bill not worth much over face but still you don't find to many bills that old in circulation anymore

I would say it’s only worth face.
Important to you if you like it.

Makes for a good study/reference piece.

Well worn, torn, etc. do it's just worth face value. If it's special to you for some reason, keep it.

Very nice find! I would definitely keep it, being a relatively low denomination, and an older series. Mostly I would set it aside because my album is missing the 1969, 1969A, B, C, and D.

I plan on keeping I know it's not really worth over face due to condition but it is my first truly old bill I got from work mostly I get old coins mainly wheat pennies and it didn't cost me anything to get

I would advise you to look for new -Crisp looking bills - and keep them that way ;)

You keep anything/everything that has value to YOU. For whatever reason that may be. It's in YOUR collection.

I collect and keep stuff that is COOL. ... For all sorts of reasons ... YOUR bill is COOL.

COOL ... however ... be aware that you can easily find bills of that series is AU condition for +/- $11.
