Did I find a die crack?

    I was going through some random change and found this 2016 d nickel that appears to have a crack from the top of the smallest tier to the top of the I in America.

    Welcome to CT David. As you read posts, you may notice that the ones that get the most input have photos of the obverse (front) and reverse (tails). Full photos of the coin in focus, properly orientated, and cropped and then close ups of any specific areas you have questions about will yield the best responses. The photos you have posted are very good BTW.

    Nice catch on the die crack! Those Jefferson’s here lately have been sporting a bunch of die cracks, breaks and chips on the reverse. I have a thread about it somewhere here.
