1830 50C Capped Bust Half Dollar Guess the Grade

    It looks like 2 different coins, between the 1st pics and the NGC pic in the holder. I had it at AU50 based on the 1st pics, but it has such a different look straight on... XF something is the bare minimum. I agree with Frank that at PCGS it would be graded correctly.

    I believe NGC got it right and the glamour shot deceived us.

    It’s a very nice coin, but it has significant wear and appears to have been dipped. Either it’s a net grade for an XF coin or they’re tougher with them now.

    Where did the blue color come from. I'm sorry but all of your images have that same blue look. Something is off with the way you are taking your images. Please don't be mad at me put that is the truth.

    not sure what you mean as there's blue showing in both pictures? Am I missing something?

    I think part of what he wants to know why your pics are predominantly blue but the NGC pics are predominantly not. And yes, I think the answer is lighting. Plus, this is one of those coins that changes a lot between straight-on, and tilted.
