Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

So I'm bored at work and going through some of my collection (I pack some in my backpack for just such occasions) to look over for anything I may have missed.

One of the coins in the mix is the one I have as my avatar, a 1963 Proof Franklin Half. As you can see, the toning (rust) on this thing is off the charts which makes attributing a bit difficult. I found some good lighting to use and give it a good going over and think I have a either a DDO-003 or 023? Since there are no die markers listed for most if not all in VV for this make and model, I'm just using the descriptions to match up the pics the best I can. It's not like I could see all of the details anyways if there were, but I'd sure try hard.

The one thing that stands out on the coin that I do clearly see is a tripling on the top of the center serif on the E in WE. I don't see this on any of the pics so I'm questioning if either of my choices are correct? None of the other 22 variety choices for this make and model have this, and I went through all of them.

There's no way my phone will be able to pick up any of the minute details so no other pics to add other than the avatar.

"make and model"? I didn't know that Franklin was a car salesman.

Coins are similar to cars when describing. They both have a year, make, and model/style. i.e. '68 / Chevy / Camaro - '63 / Franklin / Half Dollar. ;)

Your description of tripling is bothersome as it usually means MD is involved, but even with a 40* monitor I could not be sure on any answer. Jim
