It is a well worn and damaged example of a common quarter. You have 1 of over 1,800,000,000 minted For any new collector, I strongly recommend buying this book. It will be the best $10-15 you'll every spend on the hobby.
For some reason there's a YouTube video stating there's rare 1965 quarters in pocket change. Some video looking for Likes, Views and stuff to make money on some fake information. We're seeing more "rare 1965 quarter" postings lately it seems.
Weren't the years 65, 66 and 67 the 3 years where there were no mint marks on any coins, to try to get a handle on people hoarding coins? It caused a coin shortage in the U.S. from what I've read. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you
Yes in 1965 1966 and 1967 none of the US coins had mint marks. But they were produced at all 3 mints. You Tube coin videos are click bait half truths and misinformation.
