Good evening everyone, I am new to the forums and would like some information on this quarter. My mother worked at a bank years ago and I assume this is were it came from. Mom recently passed and we found it in her safe deposit box along with other coins, but I found this one interesting. Any info on it would be great for my brothers and sisters. Sorry the pictures aren't the best. Thanks Jon
Nice. It is called an Off Center Strike. I would say 60% That is a beautiful example and really in great shape. My condolence to you on your loss.
Very nice and you got a full date and mintmark. Sweet! Off scented Sttike. Sorry about your mom. Welcome to CT.
Now, any worth for it? Not that we are going to sell it, but would like to let my brothers and sisters know. Thanks for the quick replies, Jon
Sure.. I would put it at $30.00 to $40.00 for a raw coin especially for a Bicentennial Quarter.. IMHO
Welcome to Cointalk! I love the Bicentennial issues to begin with and it makes it all the better with an error! Thanks for sharing!
I have an off-center strike bicentennial quarter, with a D. It is ever so slightly off center, mans not a double strike.
Pictures or your Quarter doesn't exist Yours could be a Misaligned die strike. Start a new thread. This one is from 2019 Welcome to Cointalk
