Very bold and interesting piece. I have heard folks talk about using a Google translator. Anyone know how to put that to use?

I just right click and "translate to English" that with Google Chrome. Translates to:
Good day. Can anyone know about the price of this coin, or at least passes at auctions. Thank you in advance.

Don't really know about this piece. But the MONE·ARG·CUR inscription, and the two symbols (Polish eagle and Lithuanian horseman/vytis), suggest Courland ...

@Siberian Man - could you maybe move this to World Coins? :)

I'm guessing it's a groschen, but other than that I don't recognize anything further than what's been stated here.

I assume that it is a coin of Kurland

Moving a topic, once it has been posted, can only be done by a moderator or admin. But since @Jaelus suggested it is a groschen ... :) Maybe this page helps a little, at least with further research:

(Now this is the German language version, my primary language. But the page is also available in English, Russian, and others; see the Language button in the upper right corner.)

This coin is a 3 Groschen ( or trojak)struck by Wilhelm Kettler, Duke of Courland (1587-1616). Friedrich and Wilhelm, the sons of Gottfried Kettler (Duke of Courland 1561-1587 ) divided the duchy into two parts in 1596. Friedrich took the eastern part, Semigalia, with his residency in Jelgava (Mittau in German) while Wilhelm took the western part, Courland, with his residency in Kuldiga (Goldingen in German). Wilhelm got into a dispute with his landowners who were unfortunately supported by Poland and Wilhelm was deposed in 1616. Friedrich became Duke of all Courland.

The standard catalogue of Courland coins is now Die Münzen des Herzogtums Kurland by Eckhard Kruggel & Gundars Gerbaševskis (Riga 2000). Your coin seems to be the slightly unusual K/G 7.1 with ART rather than ARTR and 999 rather than 99 on the reverse. The reverse inscription means Triple Silver Groschen of Kurland and Semigalia.

Other references (without details of all the minor varieties) are Fedorov 1020, Hutten-Czapski 1691 (where it is rated R4) and Mrowinski 23-25.

When I have more time, I will see if I can dig up any auction information.

Another reference for your precise coin is Iger (Katalog trojaków polskich ) KuW.99.3. He rates it R5 while more common varieties are R3. Two other references for your coin, but not the exact variety, are Davenport (East Baltic Regional Coinage) 225, and Kopicki 4043.

The coin, although not your exact variety, appears from time to time in auctions, mainly in Poland. Here are some auction results from the last few years..

Благодарю. Но вот видите в чем проблема других много а именно этого чекана нигде не нашёл. Только в одном каталоге и там цена 180-270€ но уже перекупы предлагают 700-800$, Хочется найти проходы на аукционе что бы знать.

Try this site, it lets you search auction results. I find it very helpful for getting a rough idea on obscure pieces that don't come to market very often. https://www.acsearch.info/

You need a premium account to get the hammer prices in the search results, however, the results will tell you the auction house, auction number, and lot number. With that info you can generally find a hammer price manually by going through auction archives at the auction house site. A lot of work that would be impractical in volume but ok for a coin or two if that's all you need.

Maybe someone else knows an alternative that may be more specialized for this type of material. Sorry, I dont have other suggestions.
