    Does anyone think this is unique or just normal ?

    It looks thicker in the W and other letters

    That's what I was thinking too. Wear has made the design "mushy" looking...Spark

    It looks like a worn die and weak strike. I think the W took a hit making it look different. Following the curve to the right, I see a scratch that is probably from a coin roll machine. For it's age, lots of circulation, but still a hole filler.
