Thoughts? Please note that the image with three coins is for comparison - All three are from the same year and mint as the coin in question but do not contain the extra leaf. 20190415_203658.jpg 20190415_203710.jpg 20190415_204324.jpg 20190415_204308.jpg 20190415_204705.jpg 20190415_203710.jpg

Where do you see an extra leaf? Maybe I'm blind.

Keep in mind that just because you have three coins of the same date/mm doesn't mean that they were struck using the same pair of dies.

Of course!!! Just wanted to be sure it wasn't part of the design or something!

Either a small die chip or a stain.

From that image, I'm inclined to think it is a stain.

It's hard to tell but I can't see anything raised. I believe it is a stain.

Thinking a die chip now too. If it were DD the edges wouldn't be obscure yah?

If raised it's a die crack or a chip bug it looks like a stain from those photos.

Try using a moistened Q-tip to see if you can remove it.
