Guess the grade on this coin! I have more GTG coming up later today, so stay tuned for some quite nice pieces.

    Have fun!

That scratch on the reverse from the edge to "AMERICA" is on the holder.

I think this coin is 65RD. Cant tell what is going on with Lincoln's face, but there are nicer 66s out there.

Sorry for the late results, but it is a MS67 RD By ANACS in the old white soapbox holder.

Very nice and in the old case to boot.

I admit I am surprised about the marks on the obverse on the face and under LIBERTY. I was going to say MS64. So congratulations - and we see how much to trust my grading.

The face is what I noticed too; it's a nice coin but that seems to stick out (at least in my opinion).

That's a prime focal area, first thing anyone looks is Lincoln's face.

No offense to the op, but never crack it out. I dont think it gets a 67 from PCGS or NGC. Most MS67s I see from the 30s through 50s are very clean and free of spotting or scuffs or marks of any kind. This coin must have some booming luster that hides these things in hand. If it truly is a 67, the pics arent doing it justice.

67 seems a tad high, despite being a very nice coin.

Yeah, the luster is faded and just simply not there. If you could tell from the pictures, the detail is also worn out and even with the lights quite well placed for a normal, lustrous penny, this penny just didn't give any more luster than there is in those photos I took.
