Is this error worth anything?

    Is the lower mint mark worth anything? I have the same coin with a higher mint mark next to it for comparison.

    no, mm's were still hand punched into dies in '88 so the position varied on different dies..

    Welcome to CT. When taking images put the coin flat on a white surface and just use your phone without any external magnification. When you capture an image that looks ok then crop it using the phone to look like this. Don’t forget to get both Obverse and Reverse always of each coin you post. With a good quality image we can then see the whole coin and zoom in to inspect. This image took me under two minutes to prepare (just a junk cent from pocket change) taken with my I-pad. Hope this helps.

    The mintmark is normal as they were punched by hand at that time.
