Oh I see, there's something inside of the coin if you shake the coin.

    from that video...

These are my two hammered strike Philippine Silver Amulet.Namely "Un Peso Sagrado San Jose Verdadero" and "Luck Pocket Piece". It is said made of Mexican 8 reales Silver coin or a 1903 United States Philippines 1 Peso then hammered strike to make it an amulet. The year indicated on the amulet could not be correct but still it is made up of Silver. I saw the Un Peso Sacrado Verdadero selling on Ebay for $100 each but the Lucky pocket piece Amulet was nowhere to be found on the net.

I think if you hit it .it sounds like silver. made from Mexican 8 reals coin or a 1903 United States 1 peso. cool 1 you have. it looks like someone carried in their pocket their whole life for good luck ? If I were you I would not sell it. keep it for good luck.

the sound is made from the silver coin it was hammered into. it has a silver ringing to it.

I may be a little superstitious , but sometimes I believe in good luck and karma. If not to personal a question ? where did you get this coin/amulet ? My guess is the luck comes from when you carry it with you. I am not sure if that is correct or not ? maybe others on this CoinTalk might know more about it. I just did a very quick search of the words "Un Peso Sagrado Y Verdadero" on Google to research it. No that video is not mine.

yours looks not only to be a match with the 1st photo but it looks like the exact same coin/amulet with the exact same markings and dents/scratches. wow what are the odds. I matched your photo with the coin/amulet in the first photo. they are the exact same coin/amulet. I would contact that guy in that website to let him know you found thee exact same coin/amulet. he might be able to tell you way more about it. Wow what a great story this would make. "Lost and Found Amulet". seems like good luck is already started for you.
