Whats my 1895 Barber Dime worth? I read that they weigh 2.5 grams but mine weighs 2.2 grams.

    The scratches on the coin make it a damaged/problem coin. I'll guess the value to be about $30 to $40.

    I don't think those scratches are out of line for a heavily circulated coin. Yes, it's damaged, but still desirable for a collector on a budget.

    I'll go along with Larry's value estimate, but I'll add that it could probably bring $60 or more on eBay if you're patient.

    When they are heavily circulated and worn after 125 years it's not uncommon to weigh a little less. This is a very good date, but condition is an issue.
    $50 or a little more.

    I agree with the above posts- value is between $30-$50.
